I became an English teacher during the pandemic and have really enjoyed helping people improve their conversation!


In this class conversational English will be practiced to improve understanding, fluency and accent reduction if desired. For children I also combine activities such as arts and crafts to engage children in an activity whilst also improving their English. I do not use text books in my classes but sometimes may upload a page of reading to work on. I always make my classes fun and entertaining because that is the best way to learn! I also love to use singing as a great way to learn new words and practice sentences. 

An intermediate level of English language is required for this class for the ability to have fluent conversations in full sentences but they do not need to be fast, we can work to improve speed as well as vocabulary, grammar, diction and pronunciation. 

Topics in class can include:
Themed topics to test vocabulary E.g. conversations about animals.
Writing postcards
Describing how to make something
Describing how to play a game
Talking about favourite things e.g. Books, movies, toys etc.

All my classes are student led and I will fit my tutoring to the individual learner's needs and progress.
