Students will learn:

* to decline first and second declension Latin nouns and adjectives, including nominative, vocative, accusative, genitive, dative, and ablative cases; 
* third person singular and plural present active indicative forms of the verbs love, see, and have; 
* about 70 vocabulary words from the first and second declension;
* grammatical terms including noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, conjunction, preposition, subject, object, sentence, case;
* to parse (thoroughly analyse words and sentences grammatically and identify the case, number, and gender of a noun and give its English meaning);

By the end of the course, they will be able to parse first and second declension nouns and adjectives, and translate simple sentences into Latin from English and into English from Latin.
