Students will practice language arts skills using theme-based lessons. Each lesson has its unique design and focuses on different skills, so students will not get bored. Each lesson includes six standard-based ELA/Reading activities that students practice in small groups. Also included are fun facts and jokes for each lesson. I will guide the lessons and each student will have an opportunity to participate in answering the skill questions. This is a perfect review/reinforcement class for students in upper elementary grades.
The lesson categories include: 
Days 1 & 2: Animals: Dolphins, Big Cats, Llamas, Penguins 
Days 3 & 4 Mythical Creatures: Unicorns, Dragons, Mermaids  
**A mixture of 3rd-5th grade literacy skills will be practiced each week to include: parts of speech, synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, figurative language, analogies, sentence structure, editing, text-dependent reading comprehension questions, and much more. Different skills are reinforced during multiple lessons.
