- Learners will discover the history of Japanese kumihimo. Learners will advance their kumihimo braiding skills while making 5 bracelets. Learners will use problem-solving skills to solve mistakes when making their kumihimo bracelets. Learners will express their creativity with their colour choices.

The first five minutes of the next class will be for those learners who want to share their finished bracelets from the previous week. Kumihimo bracelets in this class typically take between 1-4 hours to complete.Assessment
빈도: Available upon request세부 내용: I will be watching the learners throughout the class. I will offer assistance, positive encouragement, and helpful feedback as they work on their bracelets.
Learners will require these materials for this class: - embroidery floss (minimum of 4 colours, but more colours will make the bracelets different) - scissors - light coloured cardboard or thick card stock - plate or other circular object that be traced around (approx 4-5" in diameter) - pencil and thin marker (any colour) - tape measure or ruler - 1 binder clip - paper clip (optional)
Learners will use scissors in this class.
