Welcome to Krita Creations, an exciting and dynamic digital art class tailored specifically for young artists aged 10-15! In this class, we will explore the vibrant world of digital art using Krita, a powerful and free painting program. Our sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, providing both beginners and experienced artists the tools and techniques needed to master digital art. Through this fun and creative journey, students will learn essential digital art skills, experiment with various styles, and bring their unique imaginations to life on the digital canvas. Our experienced instructor will actively monitor the class, ensuring that each student receives personalized guidance and feedback. The teacher will also participate in activities alongside the learners, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Join us in Krita Creations and embark on an artistic adventure that will help you develop your creativity, refine your digital art techniques, and create stunning artwork using the power of Krita! FIRST FOUR WEEKS BREAKDOWN Week 1:Getting Started with Krita Week 2: Basic Drawing Techniques in Krita Week 3: Exploring Color and Brushes in Krita Week 4: Digital Painting Techniques in Krita Krita is a free downloadable digital art software. At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy we have a strict NO BULLYING rule. We believe that it is crucial for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. We expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. We will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, we will give students an opportunity to correct their behavior before they are removed from class. Behavior issues are handled as follows: 1. A verbal warning will be given to the student. 2. Student will be placed in a waiting room or break room (depending on the severity). The teacher will chat or have a verbal discussion with the student and student will be allowed to return to class. 3. Removal from class (no refund will be issued)

At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy we believe in providing a fun learning environment that encourages students, as well as makes them feel valued and respected while in the online classroom setting. Our philosophy includes acknowledging students with both rewards and words of praise when they exhibit positive behaviors and accomplish goals. At our academy we provide a fun, safe and nonjudgmental classroom environment because we believe that it is essential to both motivate and encourage students. Whether students are enrolled in a gaming class or academic class, our goal is to teach skills that they can use both in and out of the classroom. Our educators are dedicated to making every learner feel seen and heard in our classes.
Miss Brandy created Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy to provide a safe place for kids to learn and play games. As a mom, she knows the importance of providing outlets for children that will allow them to interact with their peers and gain much needed social skills. Miss Brandy knew from early on that she wanted to pursue a career where she could teach and have fun doing it. With that in mind, she uses a teaching style that allows students to come to class confident that they can be themselves without judgment. She has been lucky to have taught students from across the world, with different learning abilities and different backgrounds who have had a meaningful impact on her teaching style. As an enthusiastic and devoted Educator, she strives to pass on her love for learning to her own students while encouraging them to be themselves, strive to be their best and embrace their differences.
