⭐️ This class will continue through the summer with a new theme each week! You can join our class at any time! ⭐️ 
 
Each class, we will begin class with a greeting song, the days of the week, months of the year, and daily calendar time! We will practice our writing skills daily! This ongoing class will cover EVERYTHING your learner needs to know before Kindergarten!  
 
⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can join this class any week! We will also give parents a weekly PDF with worksheets, activities, links to read-aloud stories, educational videos, and more to extend our in-class learning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 
 
We will explore letter identification/recognition, letter sounds, letter writing, tracing, sight words, counting, simple addition & subtraction, colors, shapes, & so much more!  
 
A few important things to note about our class:  
 
⭐️ Class worksheets are given for learners to print and complete during class. However, you can always use a whiteboard or blank paper at home if printing is not an option. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils are helpful to have on hand during class time.  
 
⭐️ At times, the class will highlight domestic and international holidays. We also will sing to students on their birthdays. 
 
⭐️ I will mute all students when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute or I ask that you sit with them during class so they can share when it's their turn. It's so sad to see learners get frustrated when they cannot unmute themselves. From the teacher's side of Zoom, we can only "ask to unmute" but the student will have to click the button to unmute themselves. 
 
⭐️ We gently encourage students to raise their hand to signal that they have a question or want to share something with me or the class to make sure every student gets a chance to be heard and share their thoughts while still maintaining a structured and calm classroom environment.

CURRICULUM 
📚 Monday/Wednesday (Reading Days)
- Learn and practice our letter of the day, practice sounds/reading words that start with that letter, writing practice, sight word of the day, songs, and activities.  
 
📚 Tuesday/Thursday (Math Days) - Learn our number of the day, practice counting, tracing, shapes, simple addition and subtraction, songs, and activities. 
 
Throughout our ongoing summer class, students will learn the standards taught in preschool (PreK)..to prepare students for kindergarten. Ready to Learn Circles strives to meet each student's individual needs while creating a warm and welcoming sense of community. 
 
ENGAGEMENT 
We will incorporate brain breaks, songs, simple crafts, and movement whenever possible to engage various learning styles! We also encourage social interactions in my classes and will gently encourage students to participate in our daily share times where students can share their answers to our discussion questions or answers to our group activities!
