This will be a course that will give Pre-k students the needed skills to start kindergarten. 
It can also help kindergarten students with the skills that they are learning in school and might need more reinforcement with. 

Topics covered: Alphabet sounds, writing letters, beginning to blend sounds, segmenting words, isolating words, phonemic awareness, and finally comprehending what has been read using strategies. 

We will be doing a lot of hands-on activities to reinforce our skills, as well as using a white board to practice. 

My teaching style is a little silly. I do a lot of jingles, games, and hand motions to help remember different things.
