Students will be introduced to the artist Keith Haring and receive some background information about the artist. From there, students will participate in a group discussion and describe what they see when they view his work. Then the teacher will lead a demonstration on how to create a picture in the style of Keith Haring. Lastly, students will share their work and receive feedback!
Students will learn what abstract art is, color, line, shape, and more information about the artist Keith Haring.
Hey! I am offering this class to expose students to artists while creating their own masterpiece. I believe I am the perfect fit as I am a certified art teacher who has spent many years fine tuning her craft on exposure to Art with a mix of different art mediums. Art is subjective and it allow students to find their own creative outlet while learning skills along the way!
