- These comedy writing skills will enable learners to create comedic characters and scenes, within their scripts.
- Each session a different focus will be taught, looking at every aspect of how create characters which have comedic elements, funny situations for the characters, and the techniques involved in writing for different formats.
- We begin with a warm up, then go straight into a particular aspect of comedy, using different scripts each session.  Every learner will have the opportunity to generate their own ideas for the given tasks, and time is allocated each session for learners to share their work with each other.
-  The first part of the session will be lead by me, though I do like learners to interact as much as possible.  I will set the tasks in the middle, but learners begin to take over now.  The final part of session is where learners will do the majority of the interaction.
-  I like to keep things as fun as possible, so learners retain the information easier.
-  Interaction from learners will start from the very beginning of the session, and it will get progressively more throughout.  Each learner will speak to both me, and the other learners, and I may ask them all to use the interactive whiteboard.
-  This is an ongoing class, so learners are welcome to attend whichever sessions they want.  Each session stands alone, so no previous experience or knowledge is required.  Just bring your imaginations, to bring scripts to life!
