Welcome to beginner phonics class, a unique and engaging program designed to introduce young learners to the world of phonics through a magical, adventure-filled approach. This class is crafted to build foundational reading skills in kindergarten and first-grade students by exploring the sounds and letters of the English language in a fun and interactive way.
What does a class look like?
1. 🎤We will sing a welcome song to welcome everyone to class. I want everyone to know their classmates names.
2. 🎤We will sing an alphabet song that reviews the basic sounds.
3. 😉Let's practice our phonics sounds and read the sentence of the day.
4. 😎We will learn some new sounds and the secrets for those sounds.
5. 🌞We will practice reading a short story and look for the sounds in words that we read
