수업 소개
Pirouettes are one of the most exciting skills in dance. They are fun to do, and they are also appealing for the audience to watch! They can also be very frustrating and they take a lot of practice to get right. Do you want get some extra practice in for your jazz pirouettes? This class will consist of 30 straight minutes of pirouette drilling and practicing! We will focus on working on our releves, passe holds, single pirouettes, and double pirouettes. Students who already feel comfortable doing triples and/or quadruples will be allowed to work on those as well.

Students will learn to improve their technique when performing pirouettes. They will practice proper use of releve, arms, and weight distribution.

It is highly recommended that students are supervised by an adult as they take this class and ensure that they adhere to the correct flooring requirement, spacing requirement, and clothing requirement. Dance is a physical art form and injuries can occur if children are not focused and not dancing in the right setting or clothing. Please have students wear jazz dance shoes.
