This is a class made to practice and develop fluency in Italian. Every week, we will work on a conversation by practicing the use of Italian sentences that can be used in your daily life. The class runs for 8 weeks. During this period, we will work on listening and using the proper intonation of the words. We will practice correct pronunciation. The learning goal is to speak and develop fluency in Italian and develop self-confidence when speaking in Italian. In this course, students will learn to understand and communicate in Italian in a range of everyday situations. Students will develop basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Italian, learn vocabulary, expressions, and how to talk about everyday and familiar topics.
I am a native Italian speaker. I was born and raised in Italy, and have spoken Italian my whole life. I have decades of teaching experience in both private tutoring and teaching in public schools and a community college.
