Students will acquire the basic knowledge of the home buying process by interacting with classmates in roles such as realtor, buyer, seller, attorney and those that facilitate the sale/purchase of a home. After introductions, I will test the students' current knowledge of the home buying process and decide what role each student will play in the transaction. We will discuss the necessary steps from beginning to end and have the students participate in a mock real estate transaction: 1. Making the decision to buy 2. Hiring your agent 3. Financing 4. Find your home and make an offer 5. Perform due diligence 6. Close
