Welcome to Drone School!  This class will get you off the ground safely with drone technologies!  

You will examine the types of commercial drones available to you and how to best choose the one for your current skill level.  You will learn where and when you can fly, the apps needed to determine safe locations, and the skills and knowledge needed for your initial and future flights!  The skills you will gain include pre flight planning and basic flight maneuvers.    The content in the class will be provided through live instruction supplemented with video and web based resources that will be shared with students.  No drone necessary to participate.

Who is this class for?
- Anyone who owns a drone or is looking to purchase one in the near future.
- Anyone who wants to build confidence to fly both legally and safely with their specific model drone.
- New and Novice pilots interested in taking their skills and knowledge to a new level.

Class format:

This class is designed to be engaging to all age level students.  Group breakout sessions will be conducted to meet each pilot where they are at in each class topic.  This is a very upbeat class with a variety of instruction modes including live instruction, video based supplemental materials and age appropriate learning resources.
