In this introduction to Entrepreneurship class, the students will learn the concepts behind being an entrepreneur. They will learn how businesses are started, how market research is done to determine whether the problem they are solving for is relevant to their potential customers, create a business plan, pitch this idea to investors to help raise money, develop a brand to connect with customers, market and sell their product or service, and learn about how to think about exiting from any business in the right time and manner. 

The class will be a combination of slides and videos interspersed with real world examples and a lot of interactive discussion between students and the teacher. The class will challenge the students critical thinking and help them understand why businesses make certain decisions, and how some businesses succeed and some fail.
