In this reading class, with an emphasis on communication and language development, we intend to cultivate the love for reading and the joy of sharing such love, using acclaimed picture books, classic stories with dear characters that will become close friends. We read a new story every meeting. The teacher reads the story while encouraging comments from the learners to spark conversation and promote understanding. At the very end, everyone shares a favorite aspect of the story.
