Animal Research & Presentation Project  

Class Description:
- In this engaging project-based learning class, you will explore the fascinating world of animals by researching an animal of your choice, developing an informative writing piece, and creating a digital presentation to share your findings. 
- This class will strengthen your research, writing, and presentation skills while boosting your confidence in both written and verbal communication.  

What will be taught?
- You will learn how to conduct effective research, organize information into an informative writing piece, and design a visually appealing digital presentation. 
- You’ll also practice presenting your work with clarity and confidence.  

What topics will we cover?  
- How to find reliable sources and take organized research notes  
- Animal habitats, diets, behaviors, and ecological roles  
- Structuring an informative writing piece  
- Designing and creating an engaging digital presentation  
- Public speaking and presentation techniques  

How is the class structured? 
This class is designed as an interactive, student-led experience with personalized guidance. Over several sessions, you will:  
1. Choose an Animal & Research – Learn how to find information and take notes.  
2. Develop Your Informative Writing – Organize your research into a structured piece.  
3. Create a Digital Presentation – Design slides that visually enhance your information.  
4. Practice & Present – Rehearse and deliver your presentation with feedback.
