This class takes an immersion approach to gradually introduce students to the German language. It builds upon Level 1, in which students learned to talk about outdoor activities, musical instruments, and animals using phrases such as "I/you/he/she can/cannot...........", "I/you/he/she play/s......", "I see...", "The....jumps. - Learn German vocabulary for everyday objects. - Learn to say you like something in German. - Learn to talk about everyday activities. - Learn the names of the rooms in a house.
Tips for a Successful Class: 1. Teach your child to mute and unmute (if possible). This way, they can participate independently. 2. Supervise your child, especially if they can't seem to stay in front of the screen. There is nothing I can do to bring them back!! 3. Keep the surroundings quiet. If the child's surroundings are quiet, you can leave them unmuted. If there is disruptive background noise, I may be forced to mute them. 4. Allow them to bring a toy (if it won't be unreasonably distracting). Talking about the toy in German can be a great icebreaker!
