This short course in public speaking will quickly give you the basics of public speaking in 7 focused lessons. Public speaking is an essential skill for success, and one that creates a great deal of apprehension for many people. Practice the material learned in this course to gain confidence in your public speaking abilities. Even if you do not plan on giving any speeches in public as such, the same skills learned here can be applied to situations such as job interviews, and the age group that is recommended for this class is at the stage in their lives where they are likely to be going for their first ever job interviews in the foreseeable future. Get the edge on your competition for the position by improving your public speaking skills so as to communicate the best version of you that you can! Day 1: Why develop public speaking skills? Day2: Define your message; Day 3: Plan your message structure; Day 4: Engage your audience with stories; Day 5: Say it with style! As a lawyer, the deciding factor of a case presented to the Court may not be the evidence, or at least, not just the evidence; it may be how well you speak, and how confident you appear.
