Students will receive a brief, age-appropriate description of habitats, animal groups like fish, amphibians, mammals, birds, insects, and reptiles, body features like paws, hooves, spots, stripes, tails, manes, and more. Colorful hints are provided one-by-one on a slide deck and students take turns making guess of what the mystery animal might be. Students are encouraged to guess and positively reinforced after incorrect or correct guesses. The first two classes, Mrs. Kris will provide hints and on the third day, the students will have the opportunity to provide ideas of their own. Mrs. Kris will have basic slides where guessers can use images and help with the process of elimination. Thia is a fun, interactive class for those children who love animals and games.

Students will use their love of animals to practice process of elimination and reasoning skills to make guesses.

Young children can be upset if they cannot guess, plenty of positive reinforcement and classroom management to ensure each student can guess and enjoy the class.
