수업 경험
Each student will choose the type of animal they wish or create their own fantasy creature’s eye as the focus of their painting and start with a quick sketch. We will then mix colors to create a base layer for each section of the painting. Textures and details will be added to personalize the painting and give each eye it's own unique expression. Different techniques will be introduced to best enhance each student’s painting to showcase the skin, scales, or feathers.
Students will gain skills in drawing, painting, composition, and color mixing along with making choices to enhance their painting with texture and details.
I am a K-12 certified art teacher and have been teaching for 20+ years to a variety of age ranges both in schools and in the private sector.
Painting surface (this can vary with what supplies you have at home): Stretched canvas, canvas board, cardboard, thick paper, recycled materials like the inside of a cereal box, etc. Pencil Acrylic paint - at least the primary colors plus white Brushes - a variety of sizes, small detail brushes are very helpful *Toothpick (works well for small details if you don’t have a tiny brush) Water Cup Paper Towel Palette - this can be a paper plate, a sheet of wax paper, or an old magazine
