Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) 커리큘럼 기반
In part two of this beginner IEW writing class, students continue to write about intriguing topics such as Halley's Comet, the Mona Lisa, the Wild West, and other fascinating topics. At the same time, they learn to write using IEW's Structure and Style method. This is a Level A class recommended for students in the fifth grade. Students must be able to read at a fifth-grade level or higher. Students will have homework to turn in. Students must be able to type and turn in completed essays....

Students must have completed lessons 1-15 before enrolling in this course. Students should read fluently at a fifth-grade level. This course covers all nine units of the IEW method. It is recommended for students in the fifth grade.
IEW Frontiers in Writing student book: https://iew.com/frontiers-in-writing-student-book-only Students may choose to use Google Docs to type their papers. These should be saved as a PDF and uploaded in the classroom. All papers must be typed. At times, the Nearpod app will be used. Students will be given notice for class sessions that will utilize this.

Parents may need to assist students with tying and submitting their essays.
