In this one time course, we will focus on identifying feelings and emotions. We will talk about what they are and how there are so many different kinds! I will be using visuals and stuffed animals to explain and give examples of different emotions, and we will be reading two stories: The Color Monster by Anna Llenas and I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer. 
 I will also include a movement break 15 minutes into the class so students can move around and have some fun. We will finish the course by drawing our own color monsters that we can share with each other. My teaching style is warm and personable, but I also have a sense of humor and like to get my students laughing! From my experience as a classroom teacher, I know that laughter helps to keep all different types of learners engaged.I guarantee that in this course, your child will have a smile on their face while learning important concepts along the way.
