Mummies are some of the most fascinating parts of not only Ancient Egyptian history but also the world. Together, we will look at the process of mummification and understand how it happened and why! We will look at mummies that have been found (like King Tut!) and visit an animated 360' tomb to look through some of the treasures (and body parts) that were left behind! I love teaching students who enjoy history and this is one of my favorite lessons I’ve taught in the past 15 years as a teacher. We’ll talk and have great discussions about Ancient Egypt and these marvelous mummies!
This class uses an interactive room where the students can navigate and click on information all during class. It is best done if you can be on zoom on one screen and then have a laptop or tablet that you can access the link on the other. This is not necessary but it will allow the students to see my screen as well as their own as we are discussing the topics together .
