During this one-time class, we will explore the science behind climate change and global warming and understand the difference between these two terms. Using simple language, imagery and videos students will learn what causes climate change and what it can do to the environment and our everyday lives and the small actions all of us as individuals can take to make this world a better place. My intention is to teach about climate change in a fun way, it is not about shooting facts at...
The students will improve their understanding of climate change and global warming, and what human activities aggravate the impacts of climate change. In addition, the students will learn what small actions they can take as individuals to make a difference, from recycling more, avoiding plastic bottles to walking more or turning the light off when leaving a room.
A pen, pencil, eraser and a piece of paper is all that will be needed.
