The field of Orthotic devices (bracing) is a rapidly growing and changing field. In this course, students will be introduced to the field of Orthotics from a clinical perspective. Students will be introduced to the field of Orthotic Devices
I hold a Bachelors of science in Health Sciences and a Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I have been a science educator for over 6 years. I am currently a full time Resident at a Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinic.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be several images of injured limbs and x-rays, but none of a graphic or surgical nature.
All notes will be provided to students.
