In this class, students will learn about the various body parts of a horse, both inside and outside, from a former equestrian!

We will learn the names of the outer body parts of a horse. Students will be given a diagram labeled with all of the parts of the horse we learn during class. We will also learn fun horse facts and watch short video clips of horses in action throughout class!

Please note! This is a more basic version of my Horses Inside and Out (ages 7-12) class and is aimed at younger learners. This class does not require students to complete a worksheet, includes a couple more video clips, and is a few minutes shorter. If you are the parent of a student around 7 years old, please take this into consideration when determining which class level is better for your student based on their preferences and strengths. I have a background in competitive dressage. I rode for 8 years under the direction of a skilled instructor. Not only did I learn the skills to ride a horse, but I also learned topics like horse anatomy, proper tack use and care, horse care, horse breeds, horse colors and markings, and so much more!  In this class, I am excited to share what I know about horse anatomy with young horse enthusiasts!
