In this friend-making social group, learners will participate in discussions, share successes and struggles all related to homeschooling and virtual learning in a relaxed environment designed to forge new friendships with other homeschoolers and virtual learners around the world.  

Class will be discussion-based, with students spending a large amount of time talking together with direction and encouragment from the teacher. 

We may incorporate fun games to help deepen the conversation and provide starting points for discussion as our school year progresses. 

 I will teach by using prompts as needed, and will be sure students are able to share in the discussion.  

This class will be largely learner-directed as we discuss current happenings in our homeschool lives. 

Class time will be used to allow learners to develop relationships as they discuss the weekly happenings in our homeschools and remote learning environments.
