Each week we will learn the story of a different woman from history, the challenges she faced and the lessons she learned. Then we'll look at reflection questions that help us relate her experience to our own lives. 

We will be using a piece of educational technology called Nearpod.  Nearpod allows for an interactive presentation that includes slideshows, 360 degree pictures (also called field trip slides), short videos and collaboration boards that help us get to know the woman we are speaking about better. 
To join the Nearpod you will open a new website and go to join.nearpod.com. At the beginning of class I will share a code that will allow you to access our class. 
  
Each student will have the opportunity to share their responses to the reflection questions either out loud or on the collaboration board.
