Dance along with Miss Lauren on a magical journey in Colombia! In the first few minutes of class, learners will have the opportunity to connect with Miss Lauren. We will begin our dance class with an upbeat warm up and floor work that will wake up and stretch our bodies. We will learn basic Jazz and Hip Hop dance steps and then will continue to work on movement through basic motor skills. Next, we will move right along into a special Jazz and Hip Hop dance to "What Else Can I Do?". We...
Your child will learn beginner Jazz and Hip Hop dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
