Hand-sewing is a skill that everyone needs in life! In this one-time class, students will learn basics of hand-sewing. They will learn how to thread a needle, how to use a thimble, how to sew on a button, and how to hem. Students will learn the following stitches: running stitch, whip stitch, and back stitch. Students will need the following supplies: 1. needle and thread 2. small pieces of fabric, preferably in solid colors 3. basic sewing supplies like a thimble, scissors, and pins 4. Buttons - two or three buttons
