이 계절별 수업에서 매주 학습자는 다른 할로윈 테마 기반 빌드를 빌드합니다. 학습자는 간단한 LEGO 튜토리얼을 보고, 충분한 빌드 시간을 갖고 수업이 끝나면 빌드를 발표합니다.

수업 소개
In this seasonal class, Learners will be challenged each week with a new Halloween based LEGO build. Learners will build themes such as October 3 Trick or Treat houses October 10th haunted houses, October 17 Frankenstein, October 24 Spooky Ghost, Bats and Spiders October 31, Draculas Castle along with other Halloween related themes. Learners will be shown a brief tutorial and then will have 35 minutes to build based on the weekly theme. At the end of each class Learners will present their spooky builds! This is a fun class that will also foster participation and will allow Learners to practice social skills such as idea sharing and presenting. This is a limited class that will not continue past the month of October.

Students will get to practice their LEGO building skills while working on public speaking and presenting.

I come from a family of educators. In my professional career I am always helping and eventually training others so it must be in my blood. I am looking forward to being able to share some of my interest with Learners. We will explore topics from Lego work where we will talk about female architects all the way to getting our hands dirty working with clay! I have a degree in Political Science with a minor in the Arts so my classes will not be lecture style but hands on while speaking about but fun facts where students will learn while crafting. I have many years of experience working with youth of many ages. I hope to be able to foster the love of learning using this platform. My classes will be full of participation so everyone has a chance to talk, ask questions, and share ideas!
