When a student takes this class they can expect and fun and interactive journey through the story of how Hercules faced off against the Ceryneian Hind.  Class first begins with a short meet-and-greet. Once acquainted, we will delve into a dramatic telling of some of Hercules' exploits.  Images and some video will be shared to help bring the story to life and as the storyteller, my goal will be to use my theatrical and voice-artist background to make the tale memorable.  Throughout, students will be encouraged to ask questions and will also be posed questions to test their listening and comprehension skills.  Specifically, we will learn about Eurystheus delegating through Copreus to task Hercules with capturing the Ceryneian Hind, the Hind being sacred to Artemis, Hercules' pursuit of the Hind for over a year, being confronted by Artemis and her brother Apollo after capturing the doe, and finally presenting the Hind to King Eurystheus.
