In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to a fun book called "If You Were a Suffix" by Marcie Aboff. This book cleverly teaches a variety of suffixes, such as ing, ed, less, ful, and est. We will also play an interactive suffix game, where the students get to control the screen with their computer mouse or touch pad. Students will improve their understanding of suffixes. They will also be able to listen to a story and be able to share suffixes from the story. Finally, students will be able to sort a variety of suffixes and glue or tape them to a flip flap book.
