Class Description:
Grammar Made Fun! is an engaging and interactive class designed to introduce and reinforce basic grammar concepts for students aged 7 to 12. Each week, we will focus on a different subject, exploring the fundamentals of nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Through a variety of worksheets, games, and activities, students will develop a strong foundation in grammar while having fun along the way!

Weekly Schedule:

Week 1: NOUN

Introduction to nouns and their importance in sentences
Identifying and categorizing nouns (common nouns, proper nouns, abstract nouns, etc.)
Fun activities and games to reinforce noun usage

Week 2: PRONOUN

Understanding the role of pronouns in replacing nouns
Exploring different types of pronouns (personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, reflexive pronouns, etc.)
Engaging worksheets and interactive exercises focusing on pronoun usage

Week 3: VERB

Introducing action verbs and linking verbs
Learning about verb tenses (past, present, future) and their usage
Exciting games and activities to practice verb conjugation and sentence formation

Week 4: ADJECTIVE

Understanding the purpose of adjectives in describing nouns
Identifying different types of adjectives (descriptive, comparative, superlative)
Creative exercises and group discussions to enhance adjective usage skills

Week 5: ADVERB

Exploring the role of adverbs in modifying verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs
Learning about different types of adverbs (manner, time, place, degree)
Engaging activities and challenges to practice using adverbs effectively

Week 6: PREPOSITION

Introduction to prepositions and their function in showing relationships between words
Identifying common prepositions and their usage in sentences

Week 7: CONJUNCTION

Understanding the importance of conjunctions in joining words, phrases, or clauses

Week 8: INTERJECTION

Week 9/10: FUN PRACTICE!!!!

Learning about interjections and their role in expressing strong emotions or sudden exclamations
Identifying common interjections and their usage in context
Exciting group activities and dramatic exercises to practice using interjections effectively
