Learners will learn about and analyze a favorite character in the Star Wars saga. Learners will learn what it means to be a leader/hero and the character traits that make a leader/hero. Learners will use critical thinking skills to answer discussion questions on a variety of "What If" scenarios. Learners will learn to have a friendly and respectful discussion with their peers.
I have been teaching for 18 years in elementary education. Not only do I teach character traits, one of the main skills I teach in Reading and English is critical thinking, which is to think more deeply into and beyond the stories or subjects. I'm also very knowledgeable as a Star Wars fanatic and I am absolutely involved in the saga.
