Math connecting school and home while keeping your child's academic skills sharp with weekly themed units! Each week students will engage in a fun theme that includes one or more of the following: *solving equations *place value *patterns *fractions *measurement *money and time *geometric shapes *word problems Each activity page provides meaningful number and operations practice. Each theme ends with an assessment (Friday Math Test) Students will send to Teacher Cassie for grading and feedback! :) Students will work with a small group and the teacher to complete the daily activity. Monday: Introduction to Skill and practice Tuesday-Thursday: activities to go along with their weekly skill/theme Friday: Test your Skills *SUMMER COURSE *Weekly Theme Topics* This is an ONGOING class June 5th Week 1: Fun and Games: (TUESDAY THIS WEEK ONLY WILL BE A LESSON SENT THROUGH VIDEO) add/subtract within 20, write equations, time to the half hour, graphs & tables June 12th Week 2: At the Market: add/subtract within 100, small groups, make tens, near doubles, odd/even numbers, measure, money June 19th Week 3: In the Kitchen: add/subtract within 100, regrouping, equal groups of numbers, word problems, table/bar graph, equal shares, divide shapes into equal shares July 3rd Week 4: Amusement Park: NO CLASS the 4th/5th DOUBLE CLASSES THURSDAY/FRIDAY add within 2o, subtract within 00, add 3 or more numbers, odd/even numbers, regroup problems, count by 2, 5, 10, decompose numbers, time to the quarter hour, use a.m. and p.m, money July 10th Week 5: Weather Watch: FRIDAY 7/14 CLASS @ LATER TIME add/subtract within 20, regrouping, add 3 or more within 200, word problems, count by 2, 5, 10, measure, bar graph, thermometer July 17th Week 6: Outer Space: add/subtract within 1000, word problems, count by 1's and 2's within 1000, identify hundreds, tens, and ones, compare and sequence three-digit numbers July 24th Week 7: Celebration Time: NO CLASS THE 27TH/28TH DOUBLE CLASSES TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY add/subtract within 100, add three or more numbers within 100, regrouping, add equal numbers, word problems, write equations, count by 100s, compare three-digit numbers, write numbers in expanded form, bar graph, recognize two-dimensional shapes
