Students will improve their understanding of beginning graphic design. I truly believe that creating and using our imaginations is one of the best ways we can strengthen our brains. In this class, learners will learn the importance of details, how to incorporate their personalities into their designs, and how to revise and edit.
Canva was created in 2013 and I began exploring with it soon after! My experience includes designing logos, social media posts, slideshow creations, and flyers for a number of business and companies. In addition, I have designed journals, e-books, and notebooks for various organizations. Canva has also helped me bring a new level of creativity to my virtual students.
*Canva account *A desktop, laptop, or device to run Zoom and Canva. You may use 2 devices (one for Zoom and one for Canva) if needed.

*An adult should create a Canva account for all learners 13 and under. Canva is FREE and runs through your browser (Chrome). It is not necessary to sign up for a pro account. Please create the Canva account prior to class and ensure that your learner has access to the log in information. *Students will need access to appropriate photographs of their choice (family, pets, vacations, sports, etc.). These photographs will be uploaded into their Canva account. Photographs will be used in their personal designs only and will not be shared outside of our learning environment.
