Do you love (or want to love) drawing people, but have difficulty drawing them in complex poses, or showing movement? Join this class to practice sketching proportionate people in more natural, action poses-- we'll change our reference images each session, so learners can repeat this class for a different experience each time! Students will practice drawing human figures using the gesture drawing method-- sketching loosely to convey action and natural-looking poses.
Face & figure drawing is my favorite art discipline! I have years of experience creating my own drawings and sculptures, using the human form as inspiration, and I always brought my enjoyment and expertise to my students when we created figurative artworks. I have taught figure drawing to elementary, junior high, and high school age students for over a decade, and look forward to meeting more young artists who want to learn this skill!
