Students will learn how to select a subject of their choice, draw with shading, and how to incorporate a background. Key art terms are color, shape, abstract art, perspective, and background.
Art paper approximately 9 x 12 inches or larger or other heavy duty art drawing paper Pencil Eraser Color Pencils (at least 12 colors in a basic set or more) Optional- Picture of a flower, plant, mountain, or other natural object such as a shell to draw
