In this class, students will learn all about the geography of the United States. Students will explore the different regions of the United States, focusing on one to two different states each week. I have over twenty years experience working with and teaching students. I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics. My master's degree is in Higher Education. I have studied Diversity in Education and African American history. I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!

Each week, students will receive assignments in Google Classroom. Sample activities include map activities, web quests, creating interactive notebooks, and many others. Students will complete three projects throughout the course. Students will receive a theme and projects will be centered around the theme. Examples of projects include slide presentations, short films, visual arts, essays, family interviews, and many others!
