What will be taught:
Students learn Identify Canada, Mexico, and the countries known as Central America on a map, and associate them with the United States, as countries located in North America.
Students will know at least two facts about each about Canada, Mexico, and Central America
Students will understand the meaning of the following vocabulary: bay, Canadian Arctic, rainforests, plateau, volcanoes, ancestors, 
and culture. 
Students will be provided with worksheets of maps to help students locate North American continent. Mexico’s northern 
neighbor is the United States.
