Have you learned (or are you learning) the names the countries in Europe and the capitals and flags of each?  Looking for a fun way to test your knowledge with your peers?  Then this is the class for you!   

In this 3-day refresher course students will review the names of 38 countries, capitals, and flags of Europe and also engage in fun interactive, entertaining games on Kahoot! where they will test their knowledge and have fun engaging with other students.

This 3-day class is informal and designed to let kids have fun with other kids who are learning the countries, capitals, and flags of Europe.  They will engage in fun, interactive, entertaining games on Kahoot! where they will test their knowledge against their peers. 
 The highest cumulative score at the end of three days will receive a Certificate of Achievement as the "European Countries, Capitals and Flags - Kahoot! Champion!"

Students may download the app to a secondary device (preferred/ easiest method), or access the following web address- Kahoot.it. If they plan to use just one device, they should become familiar with moving back and forth between the zoom classroom and the Kahoot screen. I will enter the secret game PIN at the beginning of each class.

In this 3 day class we will:
Day 1
1. Introduce ourselves and share the names of any European countries they have visited
2. Review the names of the countries in Europe (from the map that was included in Classroom message)
3. Play Kahoot! "What European country is it?"

Day 2
1. Each student will share the names of 2 capitals and their countries - telling how they remember them
2. Review additional names of capitals and countries
3. Play Kahoot! "European Countries and Capitals"

Day 3
1. Each student will share a flag of one or two countries and tell how they remember it
2. Review additional flags with clues on how to remember them
3. Play Kahoot! "European Flags and Countries"
4. The champion of "European Countries, Capitals & Flags" will be awarded!
5.  All students who participate will receive a Certificate of Participation! for their hard work and good sportmanship!!

***Minimum of 2 students are required for this class.  If the minimum is not met I will contact parents 12 hours ahead of class to transfer students to another section or to give a refund***
