What? Epcot is home to the World Showcase, which consists of 11 pavilions representing countries from around the world, including Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, the United States, Italy, Germany, China, Norway and Mexico. Join us as we travel from country to country! Learning Goals I will be able to identify the location of the World Showcase country on a world map. I will able to explain one custom which comes from the represented country. I will be able to list one historical fact from the represented country. Activities * Through a combination of a PowerPoint using text and images, along with videos, students will be travel around the world through the eyes of EPCOT's World Showcase. * The teacher facilitated discussion will encourage students to share their experiences or knowledge of any of the showcase countries.
