The website Common Sense Media rated Roblox age 13. This is largely due to the unmoderated nature of the games, and the ability to chat. This class will include gameplay in a private neighborhood, with only the other class participants, so this is a safer way to interact with the game. The participants will need to become an in-game friend with the teacher for the duration of the class. Please note that the username of your child and other class participants will be visible to each other during the game. There is no obligation for the participants to be in-game friends with each other, and this will be stated by me if children ask each other during class. Please discuss your own rules on this with your child prior to class.
