This class is a great entry point into the world of coding with Python for your kids. In this extremely accessible course, students will use Visual Studio Code to learn the fundamentals of coding through engaging, interactive classes and fun, hands-on projects! - For this class, students don't need to have any previous coding experience. Python is a great entry into design and programming skills. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of coding with Python.
Computer Requirements: Windows 10, macOS or Ubuntu (20.04+) - strongly recommended. Chromebooks can be used as well. Anything below Windows 10 has a lot of trouble running Python. While there are countless editors that be used to program in Python (PyCharm being the most popular), In this class we will be primarily using Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com) for all of our Python Coding.
