Learners will discover works by this prolific author and illustrator, many of which have won awards.
Jenine is a seasoned Youth Librarian and reads stories in an engaging and dynamic way while encouraging audience participation and fostering curiosity. These stories are from their personal collection which holds many children's books that are now out of print. No PowerPoint or digital media used for Funny Friends! Just a silly teacher and real kids at play with words and books.
Paper, markers/crayons/colored pencils. You don't need to own these books--I'll share mine with you!

You don't need to own these books--I'll share mine with you on screen! Each week via the classroom posts, learners will receive one page of business card sized cards you can cut out and put in a stack or in a special container. These will become their word collection to show how many words they have mastered in our class reading with Elephant and Piggie!
