In this on-going year long course, students will learn the full range of upper elementary grammar skills.  Students do not need to attend every week and can join the class at any time.  A learner will benefit most from attending all classes.  Students will learn about a different grammar topic every week through hands-on and interactive activities.  

This course is wonderful for supplementing ELA classes and homeschool ELA curriculum.

Week 4 (9/27): Apostrophes
Week 5 (10/4): Quotation Marks
Week 6 (10/11): Numbers

Week 8 (10/25): Commonly Confused Words
Week 9 (11/1): Four Types of Sentences
Week 10 (11/8): Subject & Predicate
Week 11 (11/15): Simple Subjects & Compound Predicates
Week 12 (11/22): Simple & Compound Sentences
Week 13 (11/29): Independent & Dependent Clauses
Week 14 (12/6): Sentences, Fragments, & Run-ons
Week 15 (12/13): Common & Proper Nouns

Week 19 (1/31): Action, Linking, & Helping Verbs
