This class is a safe place for girls to come and form friendships with other girls from around the world. Ms. Price is an encouraging, upbeat teacher who seeks to facilitate authentic, meaningful connections between learners through creating a space where everyone is not only welcomed, but celebrated for the unique things that they bring to the classroom! 

This class is specifically designed for girls to be able to connect with other girls who may have similar interests! Research continues to show that within mixed classrooms, girls typically do not speak up as much as their male peers, and when they do, their ideas are often not validated by their male peers.** As such, it is very valuable for girls to have a time in their week where they are amongst other girls and feel safe to speak up and participate fully! That is the hope and desire for this class!

The conversation will be learner-led each week, based on the unique learners that are present that week. Ms. Price will facilitate to make sure that all voices are heard, and that everyone has a time to share! 

Ms. Price will also work with learners to develop their social skills, creating a classroom culture where each learner feels not only safe, but excited, to show up as their authentic self!
