친절한 편지 룰렛 (주제에 대한 회전/재미있는 글쓰기!)

In our technologically advanced age of texting, emailing, and video communications, it's far too easy to let the joy of writing letters go by the wayside. This class will show students how to correctly write friendly letters using the five basic parts (heading, salutation, body, closing, and signature). Fictional letter recipients and playful (sometimes ridiculous) topics will be determined by the use of roulette spinners.

We'll proceed as follows: 

* Learn the five letter parts, and read examples of each.
* Spin the roulette wheels to determine fictional recipients and letter topics.
* Students will write each of the five letter parts with the use of a timer. In other words, each part will be written with a separate timer until all parts have been completed.
* Students will share their letters with the class, and we'll discuss them with one another.

We'll learn about one of my favorite types of writing, and we'll also have lots of opportunities to laugh!

Remember, we are all expanding our knowledge together (including the teacher).
